b. 1986, HK.

Emily Bronwen Williams

I am a dedicated & ambitious arts producer living in Bristol and working across the U.K.

My practice as a Producer is led by a motivation and commitment to support and enable artists, producers and organisations to be the best they can be. I pride myself in creating and seeking out the right conditions for new, playful and imaginative work to emerge.

Clients include Ad Infinitum,  Amy Shelton and Honeyscribe, Raucous, Molly Naylor, Ira Brand, Beyond Face, Katie Villa and Laura Mugridge,

I have built a reputation over the last 9 years around strategic and organisational development, fundraising, artist support, producer development and the producing of internationally renowned work often in non-traditional theatre spaces.

Please note: I am currently on maternity leave and will be returning to work in early 2020.

I am  the former Executive Director of Situations where I led the business operations of the organisation. From 2011 – 2015 I was a founding member and Executive Producer at Kaleider. I also co-founded and co-directed Wide Awake Devon (2010-2013), a development organisation that focused on creating networks, access points and resources such as producing capacity for the performance sector in Devon and was Creative Producer  of the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth.  Working for these organisations gave me the confidence and resilience to become freelance and in April 2017 I embarked on a new adventure as an Independent Producer.

I am part of the Clore Alumni having been selected for a Clore Emerging Leaders course in 2014 and part of number of peer development networks.
